About

In the summer of 2015, we took a trip to Hiiuma island in Estonia. It's the second largest island in Estonia with about 1000 square kilometers. It is mostly covered with forest. We cycled over 150 km around Hiiumaa and visited many sights and interesting places. Hiiumaa has a very interesting history, it was hit by a meteorite 450 million years ago, it 's surface is mostly covered with forest and it has very unique people and nature. It's also very sparsely populated island, with less than 10 people per square kilometer. Hiiumaa is a perfect for a biking trip beacause of good roads, flat terrain and light traffic.
